Covid-19

Main Symptoms
  • High temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • New, continuous Cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

If you have one or more of these symptoms please seek advice from NHS 111 Online or call 119. Self-care guidance is available on the NHS website for people who have mild Covid-19. This extensive guidance is helpful for those who have coronavirus and are in need of self-care advice.

For further guidance relating to Coronavirus (Covid-19) please visit NHS.UK. Government guidelines have continually changed. Please check Gov.uk for further updates.

  • Wear a mask – Although it is not mandatory, we still advise patients wear a mask when in attendance at the surgery
  • Test If you are eligible and have COVID-19 symptoms.

Covid-19 Proof of Recovery Letter

Proof of recovery for travel following Covid-19 cannot be obtained via our GP Practice. Patients can view their recovery status using the NHS App, which will provide a QR code for travel, or call 119 for a paper copy.

NHS App

Download the app from your mobile device’s app store and follow the easy step-by-step registration instructions. It will help if you know your NHS number (though this isn’t essential), and you will need to have a form of ID (passport or driving licence) to hand.
