Travel Vaccination Service

We offer an NHS Travel Health Service that includes:

Travel Health Assessment with a Nurse
Advice and Signposting to Travel Health
Administration of NHS Vaccinations

We recommend booking a Nurse Appointment at leat 6-8 weeks before travel.

It is essential that you access country specific vaccination advice and information BEFORE your appointment from travelhealthpro.org.uk. They also offer up to date, Covid-19 advice for travellers – further information to which can also be found at Gov.uk.

The following Travel Vaccines are available free on the NHS:

Combined Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio
Typhoid
Hepatitis A

These vaccines are free because they protect against diseases thought to represent the greatest risk to public health if they were brought into the country.

PLEASE Note – We currently do not offer Yellow Fever Vaccination, yet we can provide Yellow Fever Certificates if we have evidence of vaccination (now valid lifelong, no longer 10 years)

Please contact our team on 01273 480888 to arrange a Nurse appointment for assessment and vaccination, alternatively a Nurse Telephone Appointment can be requested if you need further guidance, yet this is not essential.

The following vaccinations come at a cost, and are not administered at our practice:

Hepatitis B
Japanese encephalitis
Meningitis vaccines
Rabies
Tick-borne encephalitis
Tuberculosis (TB)
Yellow fever

If you require these or other vaccinations for travel you will need to contact an alternative organisation.
