We will also be combining appointments to co-administer the seasonal flu vaccine to those eligible, meaning you will only need to attend the practice once for both vaccines. All those who turn 65 years by 31 March 2024 are eligible for both vaccinations.
Invites for will go out to patients as per previous phases, so you may not get an invite immediately.
We ask that you please do not call the surgery so that our phone-lines can be kept free for those most in need.
Patients eligible for the Autumn '23 Booster include:
• Residents in a care home for older adults
• All adults aged 65 years and over
• Persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group
• Front-line health and social care workers
• Persons aged 12 to 64 years who are housebound contacts of people with immunosuppression
• Persons aged 16 to 64 years who are carers and staff working in care home for older adults
Patients will be offered the Pfizer vaccine during this vaccination period at Foundry. Further information and guidance is available to you on the NHS Website

If you have mobility issues we may be able to offer a ‘drive through’ vaccination appointment. Please speak to a receptionist if you believe you need a ‘drive through’ appointment.
Housebound patients will be contacted and arrangements will be made.
We are only offering the Autumn ’23 Covid Booster. If you are eligible and are yet to have any of the previously offered vaccines you will need to book at an alternative vaccination venue. (See below for details)
To have you vaccine administered elsewhere you can:
• Book an appointment at another vaccine centre through the NHS National Booking Service or NHS App
• attend a walk-in clinic set up by the NHS - find your nearest walk-in clinic
Note: The NHS now offers Covid Vaccination seasonally, the above services may be closed to booking outside of the vaccination period.
