We work with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to give free help. If you have a health problem, we can support you with work or benefits.

The service runs every 3rd Wednesday of the month at Foundry: School Hill.

The DWP's Patient Advice Service is available through Foundry. Supporting people with health problems or disabilities.

The DWP Patient Advice Service can help those:

• Struggling with work
• Suffering changes in their jobs
• Unsure about the work options.

This free service offers advice about training, benefits, or finding a new job. To make managing work and health easier for you.

Who Can Benefit?

• Unsure about working because of your health?
• Worried about losing your job because of your health condition?
• Unsure of work goals or help that is available to you?

Do you:

• Need advice on how to talk to your employer about your health condition?
• Need help changing career because of a new health condition?
• Want to explore available work options, training or voluntary opportunities?

You can book an appointment for the DWP Patient Advice Service online using Anima.

If you can’t use Anima, call 01273 480888, select Option 2, or contact a social prescriber on 07429 345490.
