Carers Support and Wellbeing is a not for profit organisation operating in the areas of Eastbourne, Peacehaven, Lewes, Hailsham and the surrounding areas. They work with family and carers who are supporting a loved one with substance issues.


East Sussex Recovery Alliance Living Free From Addiction (ESRA)

Helping people in East Sussex to live free from addiction.

Their recovery hub is run by staff with lived experience and volunteers, most of whom are in recovery themselves. 

ESRA recovery groups offer tools and support to enable clients to manage their recovery.

Alcohol Change UK

Alcohol Change UK is a leading UK alcohol charity.

Their vision is of a world free from serious alcohol harm. Working towards five key changes: improved knowledge, better policies and regulation, shifted cultural norms, improved drinking behaviours, and more and better support and treatment.

They offer a list of family support services for those with loved ones who are struggling with harmful drinking.

STAR Drug and Alcohol Service - East Sussex

Providing tailored help for those who are using drugs such as alcohol, opiates, cocaine, cannabis, benzodiazepines, ketamine, MDMA, steroids and amphetamine. Their support focuses on your needs.

They offer one-to-one or group work, substitute prescribing, detox and rehab programmes.
