Here are some resources offering support to new parents.
NCT Parents in Mind - East Sussex
Are you pregnant or have a baby and feeling low, anxious, alone?
Trained volunteer peer supporters are available to offer free emotional support to women and birthing people (aged 16 or over) who are pregnant or caring for a child under two, who feel they are experiencing mild-moderate antenatal or postnatal mental health/wellbeing difficulties, and are living in East Sussex.
You can access the service via a health professional or self refer by completely their online form
Breastfeeding support from mums who have breastfed their own children and have trained as volunteers to offer feeding support to families, both before and after birth.
If you would like to chat with a peer support volunteer or meet others who are breastfeeding too, you can find them at the following groups and clinics:
