    Routine childhood vaccinations help protect babies and children from serious diseases while helping to stop infections spreading in the community.

    Vaccinations in Pregnancy

    Vaccinations during pregnancy help protect both you and your baby. Some vaccines are recommended during pregnancy to reduce the risk of serious illness in the first weeks and months of your baby's life.

    Talk to your maternity team or GP practice about the vaccines recommended during pregnancy.

    As we get older, our immune system changes, making us more vulnerable to some illnesses. Depending on your age and health, you may be eligible for vaccines that help protect against serious infections.
