Opening Times

When and how you can reach us

We want to make it easy for you to know when our surgeries are open, when you can call us, and when you can submit requests online.

You’ll also find information here about what to do if a site is closed unexpectedly and how to get help when we’re closed.

Surgery Opening Hours

Foundry: Anchor Field / River Lodge / St Andrew's

Monday
• 7:30 am to 8:00 am by appointment only
• 8:00 am to 6:30pm OPEN*

*If our doors are closed, please use the intercom and wait. If there is no response, check for any temporary notices or visit our website for updates.

Tuesday - Friday
• 7:30 am to 8:00 am by appointment only
• 8:00 am to 6:30 pm OPEN

Saturday
 • 8:30 am to 1:00 pm by appointment only

Sunday
• CLOSED

Foundry: School Hill

Monday - Friday
• 8:00 am to 6:30 pm by appointment only

Anima – When to submit an Online Request

You can send us a medical or admin request through Anima during the following hours:

Monday - Friday
• 6:00 am to 6:30 pm

Saturday - Sunday
• CLOSED

Submit a request via Anima

Please remember:

• Anima is not for emergencies – call 999 or NHS 111 if you need urgent help.
• Do not use the admin request option for medical problems – these will not be seen by a doctor.
• Foundry doctor will check your medical request, and we aim to contact you within one working day.
• If you submit a request after 4:30 pm, we may not reply until the next working day.
• Please check your text messages or email for updates, and reply quickly if we ask for more information.
• Admin requests (like forms or letters) may take up to two working days.

If you haven’t heard back within one working day, please call us on 01273 480888 and choose option 1.

Planned Closures

Sometimes we close for things like staff training, bank holidays, or if we don’t have enough staff at one site.

If one site is closed, another Foundry site is usually open.

Here are the dates we know about so far:

• Friday 3rd April ’26 – All Day (Bank Holiday)
• Monday 6th April ’26 – All Day (Bank Holiday)
• Tuesday 14th April '26 - From 12:30 (Staff Training)
• Monday 4th May ’26 – All Day (Bank Holiday)
• Monday 25th May ’26 – All Day (Bank Holiday)
• Thursday 9th July '26 - From 12:30 (Staff Training)
• Monday 31st August ’26 – All Day (Bank Holiday)
• Thursday 8th October '26 - From 12:30 (Staff Training)
• Friday 25th December ’26 – All Day (Bank Holiday)
• Monday 28th December ’26 – All Day (Bank Holiday)

• Friday 1st January ’27 – All Day (Bank Holiday)
• Tuesday 2nd February '27 - From 12:30 (Staff Training)

When We're Closed

If we are fully closed (in the evening, at weekends or on a bank holiday), please call:

• NHS 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk for medical advice
• 999 in an emergency

If we are closed for staff training, follow the instructions on our home page. We’ll post clear information there on what to do and where to go.
