Our team of GPs work closely together across our sites to integrate your care whether it is a new health problem or an ongoing condition. We believe in involving our patients in their care & decisions about their health or treatment. We encourage continuity of care by seeing the same Dr or team of Dr’s as far as possible. As well as all taking part in the regular rota, many of the GP’s have additional specialist clinical interests, which are shown for each Dr. A number of us are GP trainers or educators. Some of our Dr team are involved in the Foundry management team which enables us to develop our services to aim to give best clinical care as well as a supportive and fulfilling working environment for our team.
We have a team of experienced Practice nurses, who provide a range of healthcare services to our patients. They manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD and Asthma. They also offer a range of clinics including family planning & sexual health, healthy living advice, child immunisations, cervical smears, wound dressing & care management, and travel immunisations.
We are a training practice so we have Dr’s working with us who are at various stages of their specialist GP training. They are all qualified and experienced Dr’s, and supervised by their GP Trainer. They may occasionally record or video a consultation for their own learning -you will be asked for consent before this happens. We feel that being a training practice is invigorating and encourages us all to stay up to date and reflect on our practice.
Our Paramedic works alongside our GPs, helping manage routine and urgent appointments, as well as telephone triage and home visits. Advising patients on general healthcare and promoting self management. Working with patients with a variety of health conditions from coughs to minor injuries, to some more serious conditions such as Asthma and Heart Attacks.
