Foundry Healthcare is looking for a motivated, and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our friendly and supportive clinical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HCA who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within Primary Care. You will work alongside our GPs, nurses, and wider multidisciplinary team to support patients across our practice sites and help deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to our local community.

About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our nursing and clinical teams by providing a range of patient services, including:

• Phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Blood pressure monitoring
• NHS Health Checks
• Height, weight, BMI, and lifestyle assessments
• New patient health checks
• ECGs
• Wound care support and dressings (within competency)
• Vaccination and immunisation support
• Health promotion and patient education
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Stock management and equipment maintenance
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care across the practice

We are looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
• Is compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Is organised and able to manage their workload effectively
• Is committed to maintaining high standards of care and patient confidentiality
• Is flexible and willing to work across our practice sites when required

Essential Requirements
• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a healthcare setting
• Competency in phlebotomy
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and infection control
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable
• Experience working within General Practice or Primary Care
• Care Certificate or equivalent healthcare qualification
• Experience using NHS clinical systems
• ECG and NHS Health Check experience

Salary: £13 - £15 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 2-3 days per week (part-time)
